I’m going to bring my shotgun and come to Arizona and you and I are going hunting for javelina. (I couldn’t kill anything if I wanted to.)

LOL! I had Game and Fish come evaluate my situation. I was told there was nothing I could do, short of getting rid of my bird feeders.
It is against the law to kill or injure a javelina. I bought a B B gun, but only used plastic pellets, thinking it would scare them off.
I took aim, and pulled the trigger - and BULLS-EYE! Right on the rump! And the pig didn’t even flinch! Again, this time at the shoulder. Nothing.
I guess their hide is so thick, that nothing (legal) will penetrate it.
They travel in herds, (usually 8 - 10) and ‘claim’ their territory of 1 - 2 square miles.
They move rocks and dig up large plants, eat bulbs, and are generally quite destructive.
Invite me and I will handle the pigs, I do hunt and love bacon, roasts, do a mean BBQ rig set and would be happy to aid you in your need! Of course you could just buy a small electric fence charger, rig a fence with a three wires between wooden posts and keep them out all together! (but what fun would that be?)
