While what you are saying is true, the “event” which they have carved into stone will be very significant to mankind..... and yes their calendar cycles at that point.
Between them, the bible and nostradamus, they all seem to have a significant event at approximately the same time. If this is true, Bary o is an associate of the anti Christ!

Not necessarily trickery. The Bible was addressing men 2000 and more years ago about events far in the future. It would have been phrased so as to make sense and be useful to both.

Barbecue is an interesting word....it also can be traced to the French word phrase "barbe à queue". They probably picked it up from the Taino people when they were invading islands ;)

The Taino people may have used 'barbacoa' in their language however, the roots of that word seem to go from there back to the Yucatan/Mayan language.

This article makes a good case that the root of the word 'barbacoa' can be directly attributed to the Mayan 'BAALBAK KAB' = baal "to cover", bak "meat" and kab "land". It says they used red rocks (heated up rocks)...and placed a slate rock on top to heat up meat etc.

BAALBAK KAB - Looks a lot like words such as Kebab which is Urdu (Indo-European based language)

Through the centuries there's been a long list of would-be tyrants who have come and gone, a few of them have succeeded in their ambitions and many more in the end failed. Obama is just another in the long and sorry line of such rulers. I do believe every significant ruler of the last 2000 years (and some not so significant) has also been speculated to be The AntiChrist by someone or other. It takes a certain level of self-absorption for people to constantly be seeing their own time and their own situation as the culmination of all history, but let's not forget that the World is a lot bigger than the United States and our current problems.

Besides all that, if there ever is to be a single man who owns the title of The AntiChrist (an idea of which I am by no means convinced) he will arise as a religious, and not a political figure.

And I would like TO ADD: October 23-24, 2007 Comet Holmes exploded, and stayed visible through November. Comets are traditionally omens. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comet_Holmes for details of why this event was so unusual if you did not go outside to look at it. I just think this was about Obama about to burst on the scene - is this when he would have filed to run for President?
