What if we could clear the shelves of Blue Moon Beer? A new way to freep

It occurs to me, as the MSM is cooing and fawning over the Beer Summit, that it wouldn't take many freepers buying a bottle or a sixpack to clear a few shelves in convenience stores and send the sales up.

For those of us who imbibe, maybe switch brands for a few days? And stay away from that Red Stripe stuff--the beer of Harvard snobs and racial profilers.

I’d never heard of the brand before the Summit.

It's brewed in Jamaica. And it's weasel wee.

How about Sam Adams. Named after a patriot fighting against a tax raising tyrant?

That was my first thought when Crowley was asked his fave.

Sam Adams. Always a good call.

May well be. I don’t really know much about beer or brands. But the whole Summit thing is just so much dog-and-pony patronizing of Crowley, I thought buying a bottle of his brand would be a gesture of support.

CERVEZA - BO - BEERACK OBOTTLE

STAY STUPID, my friends

His ego is expanding faster than the national debt. He once bowled a 37. Honest. He lives vicariously through his teleprompter. The police often question him, just so he can say they acted stupidly. His blood smells like arugula. Every time a pitcher throws a perfect game, he claims to know them. He’s been known to cure insomnia, just by holding a press conference. People hang on his every word. They’re so bored they hang themselves. He can speak Indonesian . . . in Kenyan.

It’s too good an ale to abuse by sending it to the White House, but its name is certainly appropriate. I really like Arrogant Bastard Ale.

Awesome idea! I’m at least going to try Blue Moon, when I otherwise wouldn’t have thought to do so.

A nice tall Blue Moon with a nice wedge of orange floating on the top.....mmmmm. Nothing better on a hot humid summer day.

I LOVE Blue Moon beer. I’ve tried a lot of the microbrews, and to me this is one of the best. I do NOT drink Miller beer though, as 1. It sucks. 2. They contributed to a lot of amnesty marches last year. That was it. Bud, however, i can stomach...

I believe Blue Moon is a coors/miller/whatever product.

"Blue Moon, a Belgian-Style witbier brewed by the Molson Coors Brewing Company in Toronto, Ontario, was launched in 1995. In Canada it is marketed as Rickard's White[2]. Originally called Bellyslide Belgian White, it was created by Keith Villa, a brewmaster at Coors Field's Sandlot Brewery (the onsite brewery owned by the Molson Coors Brewing Company)." (wiki) Somewhat American beer.
