" Although Gibbs doesn't come out and say it, it appears that Obama's "acted stupidly" line was not a spur of the moment blunder, but rather scripted commentary that he worked out in advance with his aides. Gibbs went on:

And, look, Bret, it's our hope that, as the president said, there can be -- this can be part of a teachable moment, that we can create a better communication and a dialogue between communities and police and help everyone do their job a little bit better. "

Bloggers out there doing the job the media just won't do. Someone bothered to ask Gibbs if Obama was prepped in advance to handle a question about the Gates issue and the answer Gibbs tries not to give appears to be 'yes'. Now if this wasn't 'The One', this kind of information would have led the evening news...

"I may be a little biased here, and I don't know all the facts, but the Cambridge Police clearly acted stupidly."

Obama let his bias and underlying feelings be exposed with that statement.

In truth, underneath the sheen, and the thin venier...behind the TOTUS, Obama is just like Gates, Wright, Ayers, etc.

And, IMHO, that is the most revealing thing about the issue with Gates. He is so clearly another person and instance of a pattern that fits Obama's other "close friends".

Racist, hate filled, angry, people who detest traditional America and the free market and whose seething hatred is only just below the surface...and in some cases always out in the open. Frank Davis, Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Jeremiah Wright, Henry Louis Gates, even his own wife, Michelle (by her own admission)...and the list goes on and on.

There is a clear pattern here that the MSM not only knows, but refuses to report. And that is because most of them share this hatred.

Obama and all those pushing his radical agenda are abject marxist ideologues. Their "fundamental; change" is nothing more than a destruction of the American free market and fundamental republican principle.

And the journalist. Don't forget the journalist.

Talk about transparency. I could see right through that.

Obama was so eager to get to that planted question he almost forgot to call upon the "journalist" that was scheduled ask his planted question about the Mayo Clinics criticism of his health care plan.

Following is what he had the audacity to say during an interview, that the obamanations racist words were a “teachable moment”. GIVE ME A BREAK. HOW STUPID DO YOU THINK WE ARE, GIBBS???????:

“And, look, Bret, it’s our hope that, as the president said, there can be — this can be part of a teachable moment, that we can create a better communication and a dialogue between communities and police and help everyone do their job a little bit better

The ‘teachable moment’ in all this is that honkies to to be upbraided and brought to task at every opportunity by Obama and his ilk.

scripted commentary that he worked out in advance

As was his "lipstick on a pig" remark. You could literally see the gears in his head working, as he was gearing up to say that remark.

Yes, President Lecture doesn't waste an opportunity to talk down to us heathen white folk. But then, that is a trait shared by many liberals. They are more self-righteous than most religous zealots.

The cover provided to TOTUS (’didn’t calibrate his words’) sounds, as usual, like condescension. It attempts to imply, IMHO, that he forgot to simplify his words so that even WE would understand him. The whole ‘teachable moment’ and helping ‘people do their jobs better’ is, naturally, condescending in that Zero is once again portrayed as floating above the disagreement instead of having stuck both feet into it. Suddenly Zero becomes the school teacher of contentious children deciding to ‘make this a teachable moment’ for us instead of being accurately depicted as the self important fool who just couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

Well, DUH

Agreed. But for now, his giant ego is wrapped around the pose of never using weapons of any kind under any circumstances - he’s Mr. Negotiation etc. I think his ego will lead him to do stupid things, take stupid risks etc. because he doesn’t think he needs actual information. And if we can see through him, so can our enemies. As we know his ego - so do they. How might they simultaneously exploit his ego AND his ignorance to get him to do their bidding? That’s my present concern.
