Having been burned in the past, Apple historically sends mail when legal issues are involved to provide a corporate paper trail. Turner has not provided names or dates about who called and when.

I still think this is a tempest in a teapot. Apple lowered their prices and their legal department contacted MS and told them their ads were no longer accurate, please correct them. MS corrected them.

So, Kevin Turner does a speech where he claims it's the greatest phone call he ever got and he was doing cartwheels down the halls. I'm sorry, but WTF? If Joe's computer shack running out of his garage did a four dollar ad on Craigslist that said the cheapest MacBook pro was $2000, he'd get contacted by Apple's legal department also.
