This is a feel good story.
This is what a Wedding should be like.
Have you seen this yet?
It's big on YouTube right now.
Members of a wedding party dance up a storm at this wedding.
You've got to see it to believe it.

No father to walk her down the aisle? Wonder if he was too embarrassed.

It was a joyful thing. YES! Like turning water into wine.
Some here would turn it into whine...

Hm?....I’d say that their chances of being divorced are very high.

Gee! It's bad enough to be subjected to weddings where the couple write their own vows ( with the obligatory Kahlil Gibran)...I see that that bad dancing will now be common.

Have you ever seen such un-self-conscious joy?
Or a wedding party where every single one of the gals actually looks good in her dress? lol

It could have been an ELCA—certainly not a LCMS.
To: blowfish
It would have been more appropriate for an outdoor wedding.

Sinners! How dare they dance happily in front of people and God. Jesus would not be glad to see joy!
Sinners, repent your dancing ways and you will be forgiven.

What exactly is it that God wants? Is it written somewhere that this ISN’T what God wants?

We should ALL be so free and joyful in our everyday lives that bursting out into dance and song is something which frequently happens. If you cant understand that, I truly and sincerely feel sorry for you. You are missing out on a happy life (despite realities that always come our way)!Absolutely! And I adore how they all celebrated the start of a new union. Joy and a sense of humor sure makes a marriage happier!

I think it’s really cute! So many couples take their wedding terribly seriously, but don’t take marriage seriously at all. Maybe this couple will be the opposite!
I didn’t like the song, though. First time I’ve heard Chris Brown, and I don’t mind if it’s the last.

I agree, Rb. I plan to have mariachis at my funeral, and later, when everyone’s had the time to divvy up my stuff, Anoreth has to throw a huge party with belly dancers and lots of seafood. She promised. I’ll make sure the directions and funding are legally specified!

Dave, seriously — you need to get out more. If you’re a Christian, you should be careful not to judge whether this was done for the Lord or not. The song was perfect for starting a new marriage, if you listened to the lyrics. And yes, I would definitely do this at my wedding, and would crack up if my daughter did this at hers. Having choirs enter the church sanctuary singing a gospel song while dancing would be a breath of fresh air.
Hope I answered all your questions. As for potato chips, whatever makes you happy.
