(His stubborness, ie., immaturity, is why we think he desperately NEEDS to be in the military. They’ll make a man out of him.)

So, after dropping him off at the recruiters tomorrow, my plan is to go to the store and pick up some chicken and chuck roast that I see are on sale. And spend the day canning. It’ll keep me busy and keep me from worrying. Amazing how my new hobby is coming in so handy (and not just in ways dealing with storing food)!<<<

Good for you, keeping busy will help, in lots of ways.

I agree, for often when I meet a man, even years later, you can still see the strength they gained in the military.

It wouldn’t hurt the women either, if they would get off the womens libber platform and just train them for good uses.

I sure hope it does that for Zach. I feel we are a failure as parents, since he didn't get the inner discipline he ought to have. We certainly tried, but were outmaneuvered by a liberal education system and society. If I could do it all over agian, I would homeschool for more than just 1 year. All 12 years!
