I didn’t even have to go nekkid! I just threatened to, and we got zero rain on Friday and only 0.4” yesterday. That was after having 2” the previous two days.

If you HAD gone out naked, it would have rained, according the the Indian lore! The fact that you did NOT go out naked to plow made the chances of getting rain lower, which apparently came to pass.
Your experiment only suggests that this contains some truth! Some day you’ll have to do the other half of the experiment to see if you can draw some rain!
Aw, shucks... I see that someone pulled my picture from post#102. It lasted several hours, at least. I really thought though it was “close” it would be acceptable to the mods. sigh... I tried to find a good Indian woman to post there, and that gal posing as Pocohontas seemed to be a good choice.
