Yes. But I think we would have been far wiser building a permenantly manned moon station than spending all that money on the ASS (Astronaut Storage station)

Should trip to Mars be on NASA’s agenda?
Yes!! Just as it’s been on their agenda since the 80s.
(When it comes to Mars, NASA would rather keep it on the agenda FOEVER, than try to cheat us out of it!!!)

I vote yes. The federal can’t be too big. Why stop at Mars. Yes we can. There’s no limit. Think of all those cool pictures. So what if folks have to give up something to pay for it. People have become way too selfish.
To: KevinDavis
No, because they won't be able to. 0bama is going to castrate NASA to pay for his health care and other socialist programs.

No. NASA should be scrapped and a new agency formed that cannot have more than 10% of ex-NASA people in it.

The ancillary benefits that came from America's manned space program are almost incalculable. From the moment that man first walked out of sub-Saharan Africa to explore the riches of the world wherever they may be, man has endeavored to satiate his inherent need to explore. Space exploration is the natural continuation in the fulfillment of that primal need. We should go to Mars and beyond.
Plus, the fact that so many liberal social do-gooders want to strip NASA of it's funding, makes me want to give them even more.

I think yes. One country is going to do it one way or the other eventually. I don’t see the advantage for us to let the Chinese colonise Mars.
I’d rather see loads of money spent on something like permanent presence on Mars than on socialised health care and other dead end projects on Earth.
To: KevinDavis
Yes. We gotta get off this rock and we might as well get started.
