Pujols is very outspoken about opposing embryonic experimentation. He seemed very cordial to Obama, but I wonder what he was really thinking. Anyone else hear “boos” when Obama came out, or was that my imagination?

I noticed that too. At first I thought he may have been SS, but when Obama reached over to shake his hand it was obvious he was simply being civil and complied.

He was booed on his introduction but not so much after his pitch. Maybe the audio guys “sweetened” up the audio with some cheers lol.

I was not aware of that. Good for him. He is quite devout. Albert adopted his wife's Down Syndrome baby (who does that remind you of?).

The “cheers” on the video from the MLB site are not nearly as robust as the ones on the youtube video.
Are they done talking about or showing nObama? I had to turn it off before I had to purchase a new big screen TV (after throwing the remote through it). I never thought I could dislike a president more than Klinton...

Yep I did know that -- Pujols sounds like a great guy and a real gentleman. These days, it is a miracle when a pro athlete marries the mother of his own children and this guy adopted the "imperfect" child of someone else. What a class act -- probably too classy to tell Obama what he thinks of him. Yes, Pujols was very outspoken against the MO prop that became a big issue when Michael J Fox got involved. Pujols is so loved here and I really think he did a lot to turn the tide.....if we had 1 more month to fight it, I'll bet it would have failed.
