What do you mean 'didn't call for one political leader'?

In any case, how could anything be taken out of context when he is clearly denouncing "Liberation Theology" as totalitarian and Marxist.

Correct, the Pope did not call for one political leader.

Was this taken out of context?

Sections of his recent encyclical were definitely taken out of context. Not only from within the encyclical itself, but from within Catholic social doctrine as expressed in previous papal encyclicals going back over 100 years. ETL's thread here helps to flesh out Benedict XVI's thinking on liberation theology and show that he doesn't have the wool pulled over his eyes regarding Marxism (as many hyperventilating FReepers seem to think).
