There are thousands of homosexuals who have chosen to quit the lifestyle and live normal lives - many even getting married and having children.

A person can't change their race, or their gender, or their height. Those are traits we are born with. They cannot be changed.

Homosexuality is a behavior choice. How else do you explain someone who grows up a heterosexual, lives a heterosexual life by dating people of the opposite sex, having a spouse of the opposite sex, and spending years of their lives as a straight person then one day announcing that they are gay? Why is it that straight people can choose to become gay, but gay people can never become straight?

It is a choice.

Good points, I hope they keep coming.

I also have heard the left use the argument themselves that the lack of evidence proves their points. Any links someone can supply of such incidents would be much appreciated also

My own opinion, for what it's worth....is that who you're attracted to is likely not a choice. Same-sex attraction may be genetic (unlikely) or some form of chemical imbalance (more likely, IMO) or something else that hasn't been figured out yet.

But "gay behavior"....that's a choice. Just like monogamous behavior (hopefully) after marriage. Or abstinence (right? :-) ) Or, pretty much any other sexual activity.

For someone to claim that who they have sex with is "Not a choice" would fall under the definition of "psychosis", again, in my opinion. Behavior is always a choice.

Perhaps I'm splitting hairs between "sexual attraction", and "sexual activity"....but I think that it's an important hair to split. :-)
