Oh, the CoLB, if legitimate, would not say the birthplace was in Hawaii. But then again the image that the Obamites released on the web is not legitimate, it's forgery. What it says, means nothing.

I know several people that were born overseas, in Japan and the Philippines who are citizens with Hawaii COLBs. After statehood and during the plantation days, workers sent for family members to join them and if there was an infant accompanying the spouse, it was taken to a clinic which issued a CoLB from the State of Hawaii. Such documents were called 'Straggler' birth certificates. This practice continued into the '70s and the stragglers are US citizens but not 'natural born' citizens.
