Something dosen’t make sense here, wouldn’t the decrease in pressure at altitude be more likely to cause this than the higher pressure near sea level upon landing? I would NEVER question a single word I read in Pravda, of course!

Further down the article, it says:

The woman felt sick already during the flight, but she thought that it was the pressure. When the jetliner landed, the woman collapsed at the airport.

So the implant could have already ruptured while in flight.
