how am I getting my head handed to me? I am sticking to my assertions that this policy of battery usage if it exceeds 1000 charges is is not replaceable. That’s BS, I’d try my damndest to get as many charges before the year is up so they’d have to replace my battery free under warranty. Itried this strategy with my Compaq but even my well over 500 charges didn’t show signs of the battery failing until about 1 1/2 year of ownership.
Well, everyone else sees you holding your head... LOL...
I don’t know about your battery problems, but let me tell you about my Apple experience.
My first Apple computer still works after 31 years, and much abuse and beatings from traveling around the world. It is a testament to the fact that Apple has always emphasized quality in their designs.
The batteries in my Apple products have worked as advertised. The battery in my first iPod lasted a few years beyond the advertised life expectancy.
Apple has replaced out-of-warranty equipment for me at no charge, which is nearly unheard of in the industry.
And overall, Macs just work better. In terms of engineering quality, Mac OS X is far superior to Windows. Most computer users would be better off switching to a Mac.
So that is my experience. Now, here is the obligatory personal attack you were hoping for when you started this flame-bait thread: You deserve Windows.
