Etymology:12001250; ME < L adamantinus < Gk adamántinos. See adamant, -ine 1
Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the Word for the Day in a sentence.
The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day.
The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-)
Practice makes perfect.....post on....
oh ok, that makes sense.
Totally embarrassing!
the wise latina’s adamantine idiocy was overturned! LOL
I want that bee!!!
We’ve had an infestation of bees in the back of the house where the master bedroom is and the bathroom juts out. They arrived early Thursday, just about 15 of them climbing the wall. When we got back from my back doc, there were no less than 2000 of them. Cyber got photos, which of course I don’t know how to post.
We called the City and the City said they were just taking a rest. Today we call a bee keeper. I don’t want to kill them because lotsa people do, and bees keep our fruit and veges and flowers growing. We have no flowers or anything but trees in the backyard. I had everything pulled out because I want to redo the yard. So they’re not getting any food from us for their Queen. I have never seen anything like it in my entire life.
If there ever was a word MADE for my dear Letaka, adamantine was it.
so how soon before theOne pulls her nomination?
After the cold winter we had, I’m not gonna complain about the heat. This Bama girl can’t handle temps below 50.
;^(
the arrest report was amusing!
I’d be happy to have 50 degrees all year long right now...
A+++
oh she won’t be pulled. she will make it on there, no prob.
Your profile page is absolutely hysterical, unfortunately, a lot of it is true.
Could be territorial between unions, or could be the unions know which companies are not union.
In a union state, not all companies must have unions, but if they do, then all workers must join. And naturally any public project will only get built at union labor rates, in the Orwellian parlance at “prevailing wages.”
Impervious might also work.
that’s why card check would be particularly devastating in those states.
Yep, what industry cap-n-trade doesn’t kill, card check will.
At least the world is safe for white firemen now.
