How disgustingly shameful of you to equate someone’s free speech rights to an act of terrorism. As an African American, I would think that you more than anyone, would understand the gift of freedom and in particular, free speech. You may not agree with what someone says but to label those with opposing views terrorists is incredibly irresponsible-especially for an elected official. Terrorism is what happened on 9/11. Terrorism is strapping a bomb on and blowing yourself and perceived enemies up because you believe it brings you salvation. Terrorism is beheading those like Nick Berg and Daniel Pearl. Terrorism is what our brave men and women are fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan-all so Americans and those oppressed individuals that live under tyrannical regimes can have free speech. You should be ashamed of yourself. Men and women throughout the course of the history of this country have fought and died so people like you could make completely asinine statements like “The Republicans were essentially threatened and terrorized against voting for revenue. Now [some] are facing recalls. They operate under a terrorist threat: “You vote for revenue and your career is over.” I don’t know why we allow that kind of terrorism to exist. I guess it’s about free speech, but it’s extremely unfair.”

That being said, what Speaker Bass calls "terrorism" is simply these people informing other people. Appleton, for instance, has been one of the ramrods of this March for Water (aka "Turn on the Pumps") movement to supply water to the west side of the SJ Valley. The man-made drought is getting national attention, and Appleton, Paul Rodriguez, and others have done a superlative job in getting the word out. Chris has been involved in the Central Valley Tea Party. Inga raises issues on a local and state level. If that's terrorism, then Bass has her head up her....trout. If Bass can't handle people complaining about the job she and the legislature are doing, then she should either changer her tax-&-spend ways, or find another line of work.
Terrorism, indeed. That pack of morons in Sacto. has done more harm to the state in the past five years than any other group of people, and that includes the Crips, Bloods, M13ers, and other illegal idiots you'd care to mention.

Maybe she thinks one individual or ‘sanctioned’ party should be able to confiscate wealth of others to care for others that won’t for themselves... doesn’t sound very fair to me.
She correctly fears that on conservative talk radio there will inevitably be more discussion of the fraud that Obama has pulled off in which she and others participated and thus it must be silenced if the scam is not to be exposed and those responsible identified.
Revenue indeed. If she sold her body for a year-- which is the most she can do to earn anything, she would get less "revenue" than what the state collects from the average taxpayer in a week.

An article in the WSJ, yesterday, revealed that the California legislature has put aside one BILLION dollars for improved health care for prisoners, but they don’t have money for anything else.
