One thing I can say for Michelle...her cost of clothing must be pretty minimal. She wore a cut down pair of draperies for the Inaguration Ceremony. Then she used a bedspread for the Inagural Ball. Here she has re-cycled a tablecloth for this Luau dress with a bit of lace from her grandmother's pettycoat.

Truly I have never seen an ugly Hawaian dress, but this one is it. Michelle must be picking the ugliest things shown to her on purpose. I swear her attempts at dressing are based on an "in-your-face" attitude. No one...NO ONE could ever think this dress is pretty or even cute for anything except dusting the house.
