You’ve inadvertently stumbled on to something big here. During the Cold War, it was rumored that the Soviet KGB under Nikita Khrushchev had kidnapped an American idiot and were utilizing German scientists captured after the Second World War to clone him over and over again. They were then, so it was said, flooding the nation with this army of imbeciles in order to undermine our American way of life.
Somewhat more recently, I read that this was not merely a rumor, but absolute fact, and that, moreover, a splinter group of renegade German scientists formerly employed by the Soviets on this project had split off after the fall of communism and allied themselves with al Qaeda.
The result, I’m afraid, is just as you say - the United States is awash with morons, all planted here by the Soviet Union at first, and, later, by our Islamic enemies.
Not content to remain in the shadows, employed by the Post Office Department, as toll booth collectors, bank tellers, as Safety Inspectors for Amtrak, and as Quality Control Supervisors for the nation’s many Registries of Motor Vehicles, the clones have taken up positions as Hollywood screenwriters, as insurance adjusters, as lawyers for the ACLU, as newspaper editors, and in state legislatures, in congress, and, yes, even in the White House.
It sounds like science fiction, but, alas, it’s simple fact. The secret is out.
