One reason why we try to grow our own.

I'll go a step further and say there's a distinct probability of collusion between the government, the pharmaceutical companies and companies who make chemicals such as pesticides.

Making us sick and weak so we have little will of our own and are dependent on the drug companies for what we think is our very survival.

Call me conspiratorial....
