HAILEY (AP) A central Idaho man will be allowed to keep his bobcat at his home at least until August.

Initially, Hailey Police ordered Anthony Pruitt, the cat's owner, to remove it from city limits.

Bobcats can be considered pests just like prarie dogs and coyotes.
Yes, it’s an amazing animal lover who keeps a cat that needs to be defanged. But she took the cat in and believed that adoption of an animal is a lifetime commitment. So she took steps to make the kitty compatible with its new environment.
Hubby and I agree with that commitment as well. We have never gotten rid of an animal that we have taken in. We just work to make it work. Things usually turn out all right.
Our Bobbie has made great strides from the hissy, slashy basement cat we rescued. Now she takes brushing and pets for almost five minutes before she bites you. And she almost never draws blood anymore. Great progress! And improving all the time. We figure that it won’t even take six years for her to be completely tame. We had to wait about six years for our Slinker to calm down, but then he died at eight of lymphoma. <:,-(
I do go on!
Love your posts and your “almost” never draws blood is a funny line..:o)
There are more people that are pests than animals!
You were doing ok until you spouted this pantload.
It’s true. I personally know more people that are pests, than I know animals that are pests. You?
