The economists still seem to be arguing over whether we will be hit with Deflation or Inflation. In time, it will be apparent which of these is upon us. And at that point, people will look up and say "My God! How did this happen?"

And even at that point, I'm not sure Obama will collapse.

Inflation vs deflation. To counter deflation they have printed more money, which causes inflation, which counters deflation. However if they guessed wrong as to the timing we get hyper-inflation.
