Well it could be. I admit I haven’t read much about it the comparison.
I just have this impression of Alien abduction as being completely external and often focused on medical experiments on the body. While spirit possession in the Bible appears internal and doesn’t seem interested in medical experimentation at all.
I can see where any form of spiritism might result in bizarre memories though.
The Wheels within Wheels chariot is the only similarity I’m aware of.

—dabbling in occultic practices and materials opens one up to both.
—Evidently including, in some cases, horoscopes.
—Deception is wholesale in both.
—lies are common, the general rule, in both.
—half-truths and distortions are common in both.
—a clouded, diminished spiritual understanding and discernment is true in both . . . eventually resulting in a person unable to discern Biblical truth and more or less totally controlled by the dark forces in terms of construing reality.
