It was a helluva fight.
I didn't want to waste ammo on it.
This from the guy who used his Glock to dispatch a beer can during the last big Hurricane to hit that area. :)
Of course ammo prices have gone up since then, and availablity has gone down.
In fact I went into an Academy tonight, mostly for grins, but also on the remote chance they might have some .22 LR with copper washed bullets, I'd take either solids or HP if the weight is at least 36 grains. The only .22 ammo they had was a half dozen boxes of CCI .22 short.
With the price of ammo currently, I can certainly understand that.
