As more Russians purchase mobile telephones and consequently more people carry photographic and filming devices greater numbers of images of the mysterious craft or UFOs that have been seen in Russian skies for decades are brought to the worlds attention.
This craft (footage below) was filmed above Moscow on 25 April of this year by one mobile phone user. This UFO footage is creating a stir on Russian conspiracy websites and forum participants are split between thinking it is an alien craft, a secret government project or a private experimental plane. All agree that it is too large to be a kite and the consensus leans towards a military craft.
Do you know what it is?
ping for later — can’t see it at work.
Who tore a hole in the sky?
Air Force One?
Looks more like a new Soviet, ah, Russian, hoverjet test.
EGERMANCY! EVERBODY MUST GET FROM STREET!
Ceiling kitty?
You can very clearly see the editing marks around the object, especially at the beginning, pretty bad really
WTH? This is the only footage and it doesn’t give any evidence of the object’s size? So why do people think its too large to be a kite? Sure looks like a kite to me. Failing that, maybe a balloon of some sort.
What’s with this long-running love affair between russkies and flying saucers? I can’t figure it.
I recall the History Channel speculation that the commies used it to draw attention from their space program. I’ve heard similar tales that the USAF quietly promoted Area 51 ufology to draw attention from their Stealth aircraft program.

Quite the awsome zoom lens on that cell phone camera!
bttt
Who sold the Russians a B1B?
I JUST got one of those via UPS today, along with a 1.9 meter parafoil kite. WOOHOO! I can’t wait to go fly it!
“As more Russians purchase mobile telephones”
not like the last one. the last one was clunky old vhs thing that some dude “happened” to be carrying. The story breaks down.
Ping for later
