What part of e=mc^2 do you not understand? Oh, I readily admit, I do not have a fully understanding everything about that concept.
You seem to be suggesting that what people assume on this planet to the absolute limits of physics, would be the same for possible intelligent life or advanced civilizations elsewhere.
