I’ve always believed that if we’re being visited we’d likely never know it. If you have the technology to travel great distances through the galaxy or universe, you have the tech to make nanoprobes.

Why would an alien ship have lights around it? To make it easier for earthlings to film it?

At first I thought it looked like a group of trash bag hot air balloons. However, they seemed to stay in position relative to each other, and as it moved away it looked more and more like a blimp with running lights.
