When I logon now I get the string of reply's as opposed to last week, the article title and summary were there and you clicked to the post.
This detailed format first was much disliked years ago why are we back to it?
I don't think it is a setting since it happened today on three different computers.

Each computer showed the old format, must have been in cache then after a refresh, I am getting all detailed reply lists that I never posted on.

You’re on the comments tab. Click on the articles tab. Just below the top left of the page.
I think I know what you mean...On the main page with the list of articles, there are three tabs: Articles, Activity, and Comments. Comments shows the most recent replies to articles. If you have clicked the Comments tab and then left the site and come back, I think it will still show the Comments tab. You may just need to click the Articles tab! I hope that helps!

What is a detailed reply list?
Instead of getting the normal list of article subjects, title lines and say 50 characters of text then click to view - I get the list of my posts and replys.
And not just posts to me, I get a list of everyone’s post to every comment posted.
which planet are you on?
To the right of the tabs, you should see something that says “Brevity: Headers Text
Click Headers and see what happens.
Then, try clicking Text and you’ll see it the “bad” way. So, you can just switch between those two formats.
Click on forum at the top of the page.
Click the box called “activity” just below the freepathon tally bar.
1/2 way over to the right, you’ll see Brevity...click text.
Refresh.
