Earth Day may fall later this week, but as far as former NASA astronaut Edgar Mitchell and other UFO enthusiasts are concerned, the real story is happening elsewhere. Mitchell, who was part of the 1971 Apollo 14 moon mission, asserted Monday that extraterrestrial life exists, and that the truth is being concealed by the U.S. and other governments. He delivered his remarks during an appearance at the National Press Club following the conclusion of the fifth annual X-Conference, a meeting of UFO activists and researchers studying the possibility of alien life forms. Mankind has long wondered if we're "alone in the universe. [But] only in our period do we really have evidence. No, we're not alone," Mitchell said. "Our destiny, in my opinion, and we might as well get started with it, is [to] become a part of the planetary community. ... We should be ready to reach out beyond our planet and beyond our solar system to find out what is really going on out there." Mitchell grew up in Roswell, New Mexico, which some UFO believers maintain was the site of a UFO crash in 1947. He said residents of his hometown "had been hushed and told not to talk about their experience by military authorities." They had been warned of "dire consequences" if they did so.

Maybe you could stop by the fire station next time and invite them to do some hose aiming training on you???
We are alone, get over it!
YOU ARE THOROUGHLY WRONG.
Deal with it.
Actually, IIRC,
6-10 astronauts have come out on the side of UFO & ET realities in the last year . . . some for the first time.
Some have decried earlier recants of such disclosures.
Mitchell is one of quite a group, now.
And while I'm at it, Oswald acted alone!
Very interesting . . . FWIW:
D.C., PLEASE ping whatever level you see fit to ping.

Breaking News: Barack Obama prepares for UFO arrival, open alien contact
Michael Cohen m.cohen@allnewsweb.com
All News Web recently received a series of brief emails from some-one who claimed to have worked in the Pentagon within the DARPA agency on a project that involved collaborating closely with both NASAs Ames Research Center and SETI. The person who has identified herself as Tina has provided us with a number of scanned documents that back the veracity of her claims to some extent (these documents confirm a professional relationship to the Department of Defense, they do not relate to any information regarding the aliens).
The correspondent claims to have SAP clearance and has had some access to Black Project information. She claims that a multitude of departments house small nucleuses of employees working on the same or related projects and information is very compartmentalised, provided on a ‘need to know basis at her level of clearance.
Tina has a university degree in marketing and came to work on the project which she declines to name via an initial position in the Pentagon’s public relations operations. Her position involved relaying and rewriting electronic messages for distribution to certain world organizations regarding imminent open contact with an alien race. We are unsure as to why she has contacted All News Web.
According to ‘Tina’ the last and only physical meeting between aliens and the Government and indeed the only actual official Government recorded UFO landing and alien visitation in the last century up until now occurred in the early 1950s. This was a meeting between three alien explorers and President Truman. The meeting involved some form of limited telepathic communication and involved the Aliens expressing relief that WW2 had come to an end. The aliens promised to return one day. The Aliens were about three foot and of somewhat classic Grey appearance. Photographs were taken and these, which have been seen by a handful of media figures (Stanley Kubrick, Steven Spielberg), have become a basis for the traditional image of Grey aliens.
The Aliens are believed to come from a planet about thirty light years away and it is unknown if they possess faster than light transport. ‘Tina’ did not receive any information on Roswell or any reverse engineering projects involving ET technology. She does not discount other informal alien or UFO incidents.
The aliens seek to establish ties with Earthlings. They are able to monitor the goings on here remotely and it appears they are at least a thousand years ahead of humans technologically According to ‘Tina’ SETI is receiving and concealing regular explicit signals (and has been doing so for at least seven years) from this race that state that they are returning to earth in around four years (2013) and have spacecraft essentially mid-journey. The extra-terrestrials will land openly and in a way that will conclusively prove their presence and are doing so unilaterally. They have given the US government until then to prepare humanity for this event.
‘Tina’ alleges that some powerful security figures would like to thwart this open contact but are powerless to do so. Many figures associated with NASA and even the Pentagon are positive about the event and a conspiracy to hide the truth form the worlds population is not unanimous.
What all parties agree on is that the best course of action is to leave any announcement of the event to the absolute latest possible time so as not to frighten people or harm the economy.
Major churches have been briefed on the matter and are being given time to shift their positions so as to accommodate this new reality. The US Govt has been requested to mend and clean up rivalries and conflicts in preparation and this extra-ordinary event and this is the primary reason for Barack Obamas peace gesture to Iran and indeed his very presidency. Barack Obama is in almost daily contact with SETI and is communicating with the aliens directly.
The aliens indirectly contributed to the development of internet search engines and they are in limited contact with Google through SETI. They are able to access the internet currently and their involvement in search engine research is for the purpose of allowing them to understand as much about earth as possible prior to their next arrival.
It is believed that search engine algorithms are somewhat based on the form of telepathic communication they use.
We at All News Web do not know what to make of these emails but feel obliged to publish their content. Do they represent the truth or will they end up on the slush pile of UFO theories along with so many others? Only time will tell. If any readers have any knowledge corroborating these claims please contact us.
Hey Quix! Of the folks who believe in the ufo stuff, can you give a guesstimate breakdown of the % who believe that it’s advanced normal beings, those that believe it’s supernatural but good, those that believe it’s supernatural but bad, and those that think it’s evolved/altered humans time traveling to our present?
Freegards
Note to Mitchell... “I’ve got some bad news for you, sunshine.”
I have no great compulsions to “prove” anything to
those who
chronically, addictively, compulsively
DEMONSTRATE
1. a fierce addiction to laying themselves repeatedly open to virtually certain persistent TYPE II ERRORS
2. willful blindness to the max
3. microscopic amounts of fair-mindedness—if that much
4. complexions full of grains of sand from leaving their heads in the sand so habitually
5. chronic cluelessness about proper application of Occam’s razor
6. 99.999999999999999999999999% ignorance about the best evidence in the field
7. rigid, brittle, narrow, blind biased belief systems terminally resistent to being the least bit influenced by facts and truth.
Around the 1st of Aug. 70-71 when the Apollo landings on the moon were still a big news story and they had the Lem commander on a live hook-up, the 1st thing he said was ‘’I’ve got a boggy at 3-o’clock, I’ve got a boggy at 10-o’clock’’ etc. several times he said it. I never heard another word about it, but I’m sure he was not talking about moon rocks.
EXCELLENT QUESTION.
I’ve never been able to ferret out statistics on that.
My own wild guesstimate is . . .
and it’s truly a wild guesstimate merely from being immersed in the topic for 45+ years . . .
and . . . I think some individuals would kind of overlap some categories because they are uncertain etc. or shift frequently from one category to another.
1. Advanced humans or humanoids from another distant planet(s) etc. 60-90%
2. Bad advanced humans from elsewhere . . . 5-20%
3. Good advanced humans from elsewhere 55-85%
4. Spiritual beings/fallen angels bad 5-20%
5. spiritual good guys who created us etc. etc. etc. saviors . . . 10-30%
6. demons 3-15%
7. humans from our future time traveling back . . . 5-8%
I realize the %’s don’t add up to 100%. Sorry. Best I can do at present in my guessing.
James Lovell and Frank Borman
In December 1965, Gemini astronauts James Lovell and Frank Borman also saw a UFO during their second orbit of their record-breaking 14 day flight. Borman reported that he saw an unidentified spacecraft some distance from their capsule. Gemini Control, at Cape Kennedy told him that he was seeing the final stage of their own Titan booster rocket. Borman confirmed that he could see the booster rocket all right, but that he could also see something completely different.
During James Lovell’s flight on Gemini 7:
Lovell: BOGEY AT 10 O’CLOCK HIGH.
Capcom: This is Houston. Say again 7.
Lovell: SAID WE HAVE A BOGEY AT 10 O’CLOCK HIGH.
Capcom: Gemini 7, is that the booster or is that an actual sighting?
Lovell: WE HAVE SEVERAL...ACTUAL SIGHTING.
Capcom: ...Estimated distance or size?
BTW, I think that MOST FOLKS FORM OPINIONS ON MINISCULE AMOUNTS OF QUALITY INFO—MOSTLY FROM THEIR OWN BIASES, ASSUMPTIONS AND IGNORANCE.
Those who are best read on the topic are much more likely to see the ET’s as at least POTENTIALLY TO PROBABLY EVIL.
Those of us who realize they are in cahoots with the oligarchy see them as evil.
EXCELLENT QUESTION.
I’ve never been able to ferret out statistics on that.

No problem, I figgered it would have to be some sorta guesstimate. Thanks!
I had an idea that the secular ways of looking at it would be the most common ways. I bet that wouldn’t be the case 500 years ago, of course.
I always think the time travel aspect is the neatest one, and it solves the problem of the folks who say everything is too far apart to ever come in contact. I reckon it would depend on how hard it would be to time travel vs. some sort of spatial travelling that could go ftl or it’s equivalent like “folding space”,ect.
Neat stuff to think about anyhow.
Freegards
Fascinating video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T0m16vMRWng
some purported shots of a UFO being assembled.
whistleblower narration.
Thanks for your kind reply.
Some ET races have reportedly laughed atypically—they rarely do—when asked once by some scientists about the faster than light travel and great distances etc.
They essentially said that we were too ignorant to understand how ridiculous that concern was.
Others have said that there are
3-4 DIFFERENT ways around that supposed ‘barrier.’
Well, I’m not a true believer, but I always thought it was completely ridiculous to say stuff like “we’ll never go ftl, it’s impossible”. How many smart folks said the same thing about powered flight over the centuries?
Freegards
My feelings, too.
But as a layman about physics . . .
I was never hampered by the RELIGION OF SCIENTISM DOGMA
about such things . . . that we know about all there is to know etc. etc. etc. yada yada yada
What arrogant lunacy.
Well, Quix, you gotta admit that even thought the world is full of ‘experts’ pontificating in every sphere of human endeavor it remains a fact that rock solid proof and basic horse sense seem to be in short supply.
;)
I could infiltrate a hippie freak protest and have the water cannons knock me down the boulevard.
