How many were there?
That was the San Antonio/Alamo tea party.
I’m hearing 15,000 or more.
16,000 was the police estimate... I was there all afternoon and evening ... and now have a sun burn ;-)
I was watching. My husband was saying “WOW look at all those people!”
It was a great site to see. Congratulations and some aloe for the sun burn.
I will post my pictures as soon as I process them.
That tall slim building in the first photo is Haunted. As is the hotel to the right of the Alamo.
Almost as big as the avaerage Palin rally. That is BIG!
Cat scratch fever bump
As opposed to where Sean Hannity highjacked it and pushed Newt Gingrich for president.
SA is a GREAT town! All those military folks makes it nice and conservative. I used to live in Austin from 1992-2000. We’d go to SA for a breath of fresh air, a Spurs game, a Shiner Bock on the river walk and freshly made (before your eyes) guacamole. Awesome.

was that the Nuge in photo #3?
It absolutely looks like him. Who else could it be?
You’re right.
I’m having difficulty in determining my thoughts about FOX jumping on the bandwagon and co-opting the Tea Parties also. Granted, without FOX the rest of the MSM would probably have ignored them, but these were a grass-roots events and I’m not too happy with FOX jumping to the forefront.
Sure was. He played the ‘Star Spangled Banner” as only he could. It was spine-tingling.
Eh the other networks are bias against us every day of the week. Let Fox be bias with us for one day. I'm glad they ran with the Tea Parties all day. Also gave us people that couldn't attend a chance to sort of feel like we were there.
oh yeah...spine tinngling for about the first 15 minutes then it all got old fast.
It looked like the Glenn Beck Show doing “where are they now”.
Beck gets old fast and is jumping the shark IMO. He kept going live to Penn of Penn and Teller to push the same old libertarian BS as if it were a viable winning solution.
I bet the libs were dancing a jig when Beck called for a third party.
Glad it made you feel good.
