Four bell-shaped UFOs appear in MD photo

A Maryland witness is reporting some odd bell-shaped objects in the sky that appeared in a photo taken April 5, according to a report filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) database.

Three of the objects were silver, the witness stated, and one was black.

The witness said he did not observe these objects with the naked eye, but only discovered them after browsing the images later.

The bell-shaped UFO account does pop up occassionally in reports, although not quite as often as disc or triangular-shaped objects. The most famous case of a bell, or acorn-shaped object, was the UFO that fell from the sky in what appeared by multiple witnesses to be a controlled landing on Dec. 9, 1965, in a wooded area in Kecksburg, PA. The Kecksburg object, as we know, was retreived by the military that same night and, with armed guards standing by, moved out of the area under a tarp on a flatbed truck.

No official analysis of that object was ever released by the U.S. government, although many ufologists have tried to get beyond the weather balloon theory.

This case may be under investigation by Maryland MUFON State Director Sheila C. Smith. Please remember that many UFOs can be explained as something natural or manmade. If Maryland MUFON follows up with a case report, we will give you those details here.

Maryland, April 5, 2009 - We saw 3 silver and 1 black bell like objects(right side of the Moon).

We saw 3 silver and 1 black bell like objects(right side of the Moon) in the photo taken on 5th April09.

We doubt that this could be an UFO. We want a proper person to investigate this.

We've not seen this in naked eye. We've seen this when we were browsing through our snaps.

The top three look like a blurry image of large choppers flying in formation towards the camera. Probably CH53s painted white. The bottom one would also then be a helicopter, but I can’t tell what kind it would be.

Last time we saw a flurry of activity like this was around the 1950’s and the dawn of the nuclear age. Do they know something we don’t. Scientists checking on thier experiment

I see a distinct effect of gravity going on, with the three “silver” objects. Envision them attached to an electric line, and see the sagging, downward arc.

The “black” object is a bird flying up to the line to which these things are attached.

I’ve seen old-fashioned exterior lighting like this, so that might be it. Areas with a high threat of lightning strike also have ceramic objects on power lines, to halt the surge.

Marine One always flies in groups with identical helicopters, sometimes as many as five, in rout to Andrews or Camp David. They fly over my house all the time and that’s exactly what they look like.

If it were possible to widen the frame of this shot, I’m willing to bet that there are electrical towers to the right (closer) and to the left (further away). It’s a high tension electrical line with ceramic surge suppressors.

If one wanted to fake a UFO photo, why would they choose the distinctively shaped Hershey’s kiss ( realizing the immediate ridicule) to emulate flying objects?
