I love Hitchcock. I still think that “The Birds” is one of the best movies of all time. I love Jimmy Stewart, and I've always thought that Doris Day never got the appreciation that she deserved.

Well, she was not marketed as “sexy” and neither was Debbie Reynolds but both were very, very beautiful women and girl next door types.

The woman in the Birds was Tippi Hedren, who is (oh darn, what’s her name - she’s married to Antonio Banderas)mom.

Now let’s talk about Betty Paige.... I saw that movie about her and it was fabulous. A great movie. I give her a lot of credit - she took her faith seriously and left that life. It was sad that she was raped as a young woman. She died not too long ago.
