To: a fool in paradise

I was blown away the first time I heard “Smells Like Teen Spirit” but I thought their music got old very fast. All the songs sounded the same, I could only handle his singing in small doses. It’s a shame the guy killed himself, not least because it left his daughter in the care of that whacked-out skank wife of his, but I’ve never understood the Cobain-worship some people engage in.

I liked some of his stuff. He was good when he screamed.

But he sang like a rusty hinge.

I never caught on to the grunge craze. Those were the Emo’s of the 90’s IMO. Give me Zepplin, The Stones, Anthrax, Megadeth, etc. any day over that crap.

The late 60’s had Jim Morrison. Not as black and extreme as Kurt, but insane for the times.

Hard to understand what is it about these musicians that make ppl look up to their majorly messed up persona.
