Meg, these tulips are gorgeous! All of your flower graphics have been so lovely today! I haven’t been online much, decided I needed some time off! Need to go to grocery if I can get up the nerve and energy! LOL! I like it when its over!!
My son called me one day and said, “What are you up to Mom?” I told him I was getting ready to go to the grocery store.
He said, “How do you get ready?”
I told him I had to fix my hair, and put on makeup;
Then make sure my top is ironed, and my socks match;
Check to make sure there are no straggly eye-brows,
Make a quick check of the nails - and file any rough edges,
He interrupted me, saying, “MOM! You’re old! No one is going to notice what you look like!”
Little does he know - if I went to the grocery store without getting a little ‘gussied up’, I would run into someone whom I haven’t seen in ages.
The next thing she would do, would be to get on the phone:
“Guess who I ran into today? YORKIE! OMG, gurl - you should SEE how she’s let herself GO!” LOL!
