My Grama is 91 and still in her own home! She has some old age related macular degeneration, but is sharp as a tac and does her own house work. My cousin and his wife live with her, so she is not alone either. She wisely gave up her car years ago without anyone asking. Best of all, she’s a Christian and is going to Heaven when The Lord calls her home.
Psalms 119:33 “Teach me O Lord, the way of Thy statutes, and I shall keep them unto the end.”
And when we lose loved ones, there is this scripture which I have neglected to write the passage number of,if anyone knows it please tell me the passage #.
“Sorrow not, even as them who have no hope, for we know that to be absent from the body, is to be present with The Lord.”
Peace and Joy everyone!
Amen. Wonderful words!
“We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.” [2 Corinthians 5:8]
My Gram died at almost 101, she had all her scruples but lost most of her body functions. Wonderful woman. I spoke at her Service to a hundred people or so and wanted to let them all know that Jesus is Lord and I would not let anyone else I know die without knowing that.
My brother in law died a year later, he was there in the seats that day. I am sure Rich knew Jesus as his Savior.
