Be back later..........
Gawjus! LOoks like my “King’s Ransom” that is blooming just
now...and is in the graphic that I did with “The Yellow Rose
of Texas” earlier!
I like lavender roses, too. Mine had a big ole bud on it
and something knocked it off. I was SO mad! I guess it was
a bird...we don’t have critters.
Oh, my goodness, is that MY yellow rose??? Your border is perfect! Great job, jaycee!
It sorta depends whether you like the glaze melted into the banana bread or for it to stay on the top, thick and pretty. I am usually impatient and first rub a bit of butter on top while it's hot, then the glaze, and it makes the top softer instead of crisp.
Lovely, Billie! I have some roses blooming finally. I sure do miss them during the winter season.
Thanks, Lori. Seeing some of the roses some of you have grown posted here almost gives me the urge to plant just ONE rosebush - almost, but I'm not there yet. :)
Johnn, the following recipe is without a doubt the most moist banana nut bread I have ever made. (The only thing different I do, is mash the bananas.) If you click on the link at the bottom, you will see over 400 reviews (comments) on this recipe - it is a five star.
Janet’s Rich Banana Nut Bread
INGREDIENTS (Nutrition)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 cup white sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
2 medium bananas, sliced
DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, stir together the melted butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla, mix well. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the butter mixture until smooth.
Finally, fold in the sour cream, walnuts and bananas. Spread evenly into the prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean. Cool loaf in the pan for 10 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.

That’ll work! So cute! :)
Hi, Jaycee. Thank you.
It seems like all of my frames are starting to look alike. I need to try combining more to see what I get. :)
ROTFLOL!! :)
As for painting... not sure I'll ever finish. ;). I did get one room done, even the ceiling.
Great story Jaycee! I already shared it with someone today. ;) Thanks so much!
If you ever get to, I would love to see one of the lavender ones when you get some more!
Goodness, you mean the yellow rose you posted is one of yours!
Its was really a beautiful one.
You better believe it! I just loved it....hey, I haven’t told anyone that I stole it from you......YET!
Of course when you have permission to swipe something, its completely legal, right? Glad you liked it, Lori! I sure did!
Thanks muchly!
That is beautiful, yorkie! (I had to take a little nap and then get awake real good before I got back on the computer!)
That is so cute, bless its heart! One thing about it, he/she will get it very soon!
I shared it on here but not with my local buddies yet. I stay on the computer so much some days that I don’t get time to forward things to my friends here and sometimes I hear about it.....as in “Where are all those emails you always send?” I rhink I have about 20 since yesterday evening. And then there are those times the emails will slow down.
