I’m proud to say I do not know what arugula looks or tastes like.

Arugula is nasty! It tastes awful, it takes over your garden, it reseeds everywhere!
If I’m going to eat a green weed, let it be dandelion.

Not for nothin’, but there's a pizza spot in my neighborhood that has a pie with a San Marzano tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella, and after cooking, they top it with arugula and prosciutto.
Possibly the best thing I've ever tasted.

A few months ago, I wrote a cover essay for The American Conservative magazine...He says that as if he's proud of it.

Obviously there are many lessons to be drawn from this episode... Yeah, such as that the author probably needs a sense of humor transplant. Eating aragula doesn't make you a liberal any more than eating brie does...oh, wait a minute. Eating brie does make you a liberal. Never mind.

Did you see the photo of Michelle trying to plant arugala in the new White House garden?

Conservative thinker is branded a closet liberal based on the food he eats.
Give me a break. The type of food you eat says nothing about your politics. I love Middle Eastern food and have eaten at Persian and Afghan restaurants, but I'm as anti-Islam as any conservative is.
