My assertions stand.
The Sheriff’s stunt with the cow proved nothing.
He was annoyed and frustrated and wanted to get people mollified and off his back.
To some degree—for those who didn’t think things through very well—it evidently worked.
Or else they realized the lengths the Sheriff was going to put them off and just gave up on him.
Sad that his stunt seems to fool you, too.
The evidence on such matters is rather emphatic and conclusive.
Of course, if folks are not interested in doing the research or are not interested in critical thinking about the evidence, there’s probably not much one can do to increase the awareness and understanding.
It’s kind of sad when FREEPERS are as willfully blind as DU’ers.
