I have never seen the movie or heard of the sheriff before. My husband has been a rancher for almost 50 years and I have seen plenty of dead cows in the pasture that have been invaded by varmints. I have yet to see a UFO or alien or something that couldn't be explained by a veterinarian or common sense.

However, insisting that your experience explains away 100’s of other ranchers’ experiences

in this sort of case

is foolhardy, if not over the line of arrogance.

The other ranchers have tons of common sense as well.

The other ranchers have seen plenty of dead cattle attacked by varmints as well.

The other ranchers are sane and rational as well.

The other ranchers never saw UFO’s or OTHER WORLDLY mutilated cattle BEFORE their cases as well.

The other ranchers are solid citizens, salt of the earth people as well.

The other ranchers are usually God fearing upstanding unflappable folks not given to exaggeration nor flights of fancy

as well.

Many of them are shaken to their boots by such goings on.

Some of them are never the same again.

Some of them clam up and refuse to discuss it.

Some of them spend much more time than ever staring blankly into space trying to make sense of it all because none of all they have ever known before prepared them for such and none of all they have ever known before has offered any explanation for all the evidence they’ve found staring them starkly in the face.

Some respect for them and their experiences seems too little to ask, thank you very much!
