I agree. If it was all about singing, Mandisa and Melinda Dolittle would have been the winners on previous seasons.
They each had incredible voices. It’s all about who you want your teenage girls (or boys) “idolizing.” So far, that’s not a guy who goes around tonguing other guys.
I am glad Kris won for that reason. HOWEVER, I just watched Adam with Kiss. The man is an entertainer and is at home on the stage. He should do well if he hooks up fronting the right band. Some of the most successful rock bands have members you wouldn’t want your teenage girls to idolize.
