May 20, 2009 Tonight's "Idol" winner: Too close to call!

Well, isn't this something ... despite confident predictions from various sources about who will win tonight's "American Idol" (some relying on questionable statistics), the most reliable source I know of, the speed-dialer-turned-pulse-of-the-people site DialIdol.com, says it's dead even:

Like other people, I would be inclined to say it's Adam Lambert's to lose. Amazingly, he just might. Last year, DialIdol.com predicted an easy win for our hometown boy David Cook. http://blogs.kansascity.com/tvbarn/2009/05/tonights-idol-winner-too-close-to-call.html

As has so often been said: Dial Idol’s numbers in particular this year don’t take into account , tens of thousands of little girls texting their hearts out for Kris. Wanns be gay rockers like Adam I suspect just leave them ccld.

For the past few weeks the “vote off” slot has been just about as close and the one on the bottom ALWAY went home.

I think that Dial Idol’s numbers show Kris winning this thing. We’ll see...
