they vote last
100,000 motivated queens can do real damage
That’s just the Castro district. LOL.
Maybe the producers heard how weak her song was and tried to bury her in the middle. The judges sure didn't sugar-coat their comments about her either, so I don't know ...
I don't think so. I'll bet anything they see him as striking a blow for gay rights. He comes from San Diego, but he's been living in the L.A. area, and has frequented the gay scene in West Hollywood. They see him as one their own.
Did you notice how think Matt looked compared to his publicity photo?
Yes she does. And she was so defensive tonight--I think the judges' criticism caught her off guard.
All in All a very good night. No real trainwrecks or poor performances at all. And a couple surprise performances from some we considered also rans.
1. Danny Gokey - Jesus Take the Wheel - Another fantastic performance by Danny. He is currently head and shoulders ahead of everyone else.
2. Anoop Desai - You Are Always on my Mind - Last week I had Anoop going home, this week he showed the pipes we all fell in love with in his Audition and Hollywood week. Anoop is back in the competition.
3. Kris Allen - To make You Feel My Love - Kris may be the major dark horse of this competition. His vocal was absolutely fantastic and the arrangement was awesome.
4. Allison Iraheta - Blame in On Your Heart - Such maturity in a 16 year old voice. She is the bees knees! Awesome.
5. Matt Giraud - So Small - I loved the way matt changed this around and made it fit his vocals. great job.
6. Megan Joy - I Go Out Walking - WOW! Just WOW! What a vocal, and with the flu on top of it. And I really dug her interpretation.
7. Alexis Grace - Jolene - Another Absolutely great performance. The top 7 performers were all absolutely fantastic tonight.
8. Lil Rounds - Independence Day - Lil can sing, and she did wonderful on this song, but you could tell this was a just get through this week.
9. Adam Lambert - Ring of Fire - Vocally, possible the best vocal performance of the night, but the song arrangement was absolutely horrid. I thought I was watching a massacre scene in a Quentin Tarentino movie, but without the awesome slow motion blood spattering visuals.
10. Scott McIntyre - Wild Angels - Nice guy, nice vocal, great piano playing. Nothing Special.
11. Michael Sarver - Aint Goin Down - Sorry Michael, after this week you are going down. It was good, but everyone else was better.
Bottom 3 - Adam, Michael, Scott. Going Home - Michael by a mile.
LOL!! I got the feeling he wanted to say "That's why we put it on the cleared song list, Lil! Buy a clue!"
adam is a hero in the gay world. they are pushing him to be even more out there.

They need to teach that in their Idol Bootcamp. A bad performance is made worse when you argue with the judges.
I was thinking the same thing on the ski jacket. I was “Dude your in LA what is up with that coat?” LOL
LOLOLOL
He should go see his doctor ... or stop by the free clinic.
Our local Fox station is talking about the song choices.
I thought it meant—now that Barry has finally become President...it’s Independence Day.
My favorites tonight were Matt, Scott, and Anoop.
Allison turns everything into punk rock. The Dolly Parton wannabe (Alexis) fell flat on her face. Quirky Megan would have been just as bad without the flu.
Lil was horrible, and she looked like some sort of sports mascot in that pink bubble outfit.
Not impressed with Kris.
The Queen should save his routine for the gay clubs.
Gokey was just OK. He looked like my dentist in that white jacket.
I think Michael or Megan will go home.
HAaaaaaaaH...
