.
I was waiting to hear from someone about whether that show was worth watching or not. I’ll have to check it out. Maybe it will motivate me to get back on track.
I went to the grocery store for fruit this afternoon. I got the fruit, but some how Snyder’s of Hanover Honey Mustard Pretzal Bits (do you guys have those or are they just a midwest thing?) and Cheetos Popcorn Puffs ended up in my cart.
I’m going to blame teenager gangs.
Hi, EG! :) I hope youre having a nice summer.
Well, it’s ok. We moved to a new area in Alabama and I miss my home and friends. I hate change! Wouldn’t be a good Obama supporter. :) How is your summer?
We thought you was a toad.
LOL, I thought it was a horney toad? :) I watched Inkheart last night, and I was a little disappointed. The movie was good, but they left no room for a sequel. :( I still have to say the books are so much better than the movie though. Basta didn’t look anything like I pictured him to be.
“No thanks, Michael. I’ll have me some-a dat Jesus Juice!”
Pretzels I can sort of understand, but Cheetos??? GAAKK!!
That’s the thing about books to movies. The characters rarely look like what you imagine. I imagined Remus Lupin to be kinda hot. Not hot in the movies.
The only movie where the characters looked very close to what I imagined was, “Notes on a Scandal.” That’s also the rare occasion where even though they had to change some of the book, the movie was just as good. Cate Blanchett’s freakout is one of the best in movie history.
They aren’t even Cheetos. They are sort of like cheese puffs, but with just butter flavor and salt. I think they are called Puffcorn. Horrible. Stupid teenage gangs making me buy cheap, horrible snacks!
LOLOL!!
We have Snyder's of Hanover here too--darn teenagers are everywhere!

WENN
Former American Idol contestant Ace Young has got engaged to Allison Fischer.
The couple met while working on the Broadway revival of Grease last year. Young took the role of Kenickie in the production last September.
Young, who finished seventh in season five of Idol, confirmed to Us magazine: “I found my true love in Grease.”
The 28-year-old was voted one of People magazine’s Hottest Bachelors in June 2006. His career post-Idol includes cameos on Fox’s Bones, an appearance on wrestling show TNA Impact and a guest spot on VH1’s Rock Of Love: Charm School.
Congrats to them! Ace ended up being the butt of the joke a lot, but he always seemed like a really nice guy.
I said before that I like scruffy guys, but Ace cut his hair and is looking darn fine.
May they have many happy years together!
Ye, I wish them luck, too.
‘Scar’ is officially off the market. Paula Abdul is saddened. ;)
Whenever they get around to making a movie of his life..probably they'll be several films..who are they going to get to play MJ?..and I realized that Clay Aiken would be perfect...he has to lose some weight..remember..he used to be skinny back when..and they just need to lightly color his complexion..but I think he could pull it off..he doesn't have to dance..they can find a double..and do tricky camera stuff..remember in "Flashdance"..Jennifer Beals didn't dance either.
and of course, a happy 4th to all..
Here’s a reality show that could be interesting
The colony
The Colony — which the network is billing as “a groundbreaking experiment” that will attempt to determine what would happen after a “global catastrophe” — will begin with 10 people moving into a 50,000 square-foot abandoned warehouse on a three-and-a-half acre plot near the Los Angeles River in downtown Los Angeles.
Once there, The Colony’s participants will spend the next two months attempting to create a livable society inside the warehouse using only their personal skills and whatever tools and supplies they can recover from their surroundings. The warehouse is without modern amenities such as electricity, running water and communication with the outside world.

Ashley Ferl (yup the one and only) tried out for next season You just KNOW that's gonna make the first show
Also Kara DioGuardi got married!!! We need some from the AI thread to do research..determine if Simon, Randy, and of course, the esteemed Paula, were invited, and more importantly, attended. Ya think Paula got bombed?
This fall should be lots of fun..
Hope everyone had a GREAT 4th, and is having a great summer...
American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi wed teacher-turned-general contractor Mike McCuddy on July 5 at 12:30 in the afternoon in Prospect Harbor, Maine. The Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter wore a Vera Wang gown for the small ceremony. The couple, who met when Mike, 34, built the house next to Kara's in Maine, got engaged in December. They exchanged vows at the United Methodist Church, across the street from her house, in front of about 30 guests. "I feel great. What was most unbelievable about the experience was when I looked out at the church and saw all these people that were so important to me and Mike, who were there for us. It was pretty powerful. I was very emotional and I'm not somebody who breaks down and cries," Kara, 38, tells In Touch exclusively, adding that the weather even behaved. "It's been raining in Maine for 60 days. The only day that was nice was yesterday!"
BTW..how goes it, maggs?
The 20-minute ceremony was attended by 30 of the couple’s closest friends and family members — but not her Idol peers.

(Summer is flying by, ken. Hope all is well with you!)
Disappointing, doncha think..and poooooor Ashley...
I see Kara’s wedding photographer is skilled in the fine art of Photoshop. I wouldn’t have known that was her if you didn’t tell me.
Sort of a weird image for a wedding picture. It looks like the cover of a romance novel.
