Perhaps my post was confusing. I meant that the song was picked by the producer—and I read that it was originally chosen for a Danny finale. My point was that Adam’s producer pick was a song he has already performed professionally.

Signs producers are trying to rig it for Adam:

Producer's song picks - Assign Cris a Motown song, right, he did good but had to really change it up to fit his style. Yet they picked a song that fit right into Adam's style and that they knew he performed before.

Final Song - Even the writer Judge say the song was to high for Cris, Why would they pick song right in Adam's vocal range yet they know it's not in Cris's.

Any way Cris will still win, last week less 1 million votes differences between them, I sure Danny had a lot of votes to, most people that liked Danny will move to Chris as they are very much the same style.

I'm not huge fan of any of this years contestants, lame year.

One disagreement. I think the final five week where they sang the old standards (Sinatra etc,) was really good. I thought all five of them did verywell.

I thought that was one of the worst finals. Amazing that the judges tell them all year that the song selection is key and then the judges pick worse songs.

I totally agree. the selection could have been much more conducive to style. There is no question Adam wins hands down as to who is a better "singer," meaning who can hit the notes, in key. However, Kris kicks Adams ass all over the stage when it comes down to artistry. Arranging a song. Making it what it's supposed to be. Adam doesn't even get or come close in this aspect part at all. Just as Kris can't touch Adam's vocal range.

I know Simon has said this is a singing competition, but I disagree with him, it's an American IDOL contest which covers a whole range of artist aspects including "popularity."

Yes, Kris performance was weak if you were looking for Adam's style, but it was great for Kris' style! For the genre Kris will be attempting to cover in his music career he is going to out sell Adam I think. Why, because he understands how to write and arrange music in a unique way. Adam knows how to look mean and scream.

I disagree on arrangements. Adam had some elaborate arrangements. We either like it or we don't.

I thought Kris's vocals were not his best the second and third song. Last week he was 2 for 2 and I thought it was his best week. I also thought Adam did better on his first song when he sang it a few weeks ago.

All in all, they both did better before.

Honestly I hope Adam wins. Except for this forum I do not know anyone that has voted for Kris and with the exception of two or three songs Kris has sung this year I have not been able to understand a friggin word he says when he is singing. The girls all think he's cute but is that enough? Most of the girls and women I know think both are cute so I doubt cute will be enough. Adam is an entertainer that can sing, pure and simple. People like to be entertained and I believe Adam is the next great megga star whether he wins or not. If he doesn't win I will not blame idol however. I will realize that Kris' fans were just a bit more rabid about casting their votes than Adam's were. It won't be because he has a better voice than Adam and like Simon says, "It's a singing competition."

It's not an "artist" competition.

Adam's a better singer.

Simon has consistently pointed out how its more than just a singing competition. He was always after Allison for being too quiet, he brings up personality all the time. Kara talks about total package a lot! They all know its about more than just singing.

I don't recall which week it was but Randy said it was about amateurs.

It seems I recall seeing that he used other people's arrangements a few times. I don't recall the names since I wasn't familiar with them to begin with.
