Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler and Coach Josh McDaniels were supposed to put out a brush fire Saturday that was threatening to consume the team. Instead, they fanned it into a raging inferno. Cutler has officially requested a trade, and he wont show up Monday for McDanielss first team meeting of the off-season program.

Listened to the radio all weekend and before. This is tentatively bads news for the Broncos, unless of course they can work some magic with a trade.
Cutler for McNabb straight up! A good deal for both sides.
They really can’t trade him.
What did he have last year, 4500 yards?
If they do entertain offers, it could get real interesting.
Vikings need him bad.
Jaguars would like him, but have noone to offer. #8 pick, and what else?
We’ll give you Brody Croyle straight up. We’ll even toss in all his splints, bandages, crutches, plaster, and braces. With Castel’s arrival we don’t need him anymore.
I can understand why Cutler is upset, but he needs to grow up, and fast. The possibility of being traded at any time is part of the deal of being a professional athlete.
Hmmm...a QB of the Hebrew persuasion in NYC...let’s see...might that work out??
I don’t see how trashing your starting quarterback is helpful.
Cutler is big big whiney baby. I can see why they want to trade him.
If you think Cutler is whiney, I would love to know what you think of vince young
Most quarterbacks are, if that was the reason to get rid of them....two thirds of NFL teams would be running the ‘wildcat’....(chuckle)
Bottom line is you don’t get rid of your starter without a replacement. Denver doesn’t have one.
I think the Broncos would jump at the prospect of a Cutler for the #8 pick. And I don't think the Jags would give that up, by the way.
True. Cleveland has a starting quarterback that they aren't using.
I’m not convinced Brady Quinn is ‘all that’ to be honest.
Me either. But I don’t think Cleveland would give up Brady Quinn. I think Derek Anderson is the one for sale.
I won't get into the merit of keeping Delhomme or making sense out of what Peppers says, but please...dear God...don't bring Cutler to Carolina! We are not a daycare center!
This Viking fan is starting to salivate.
Denver...sign Garcia, trade Cutler. Solved.
