Residents of the town of Campo Maior in the Alentejo region of Portugal have reported seeing a low flying UFO that at one stage hovered just above a resident’s garden. At 7.30pm on February the 17th an elderly woman was in her backyard when she saw a glowing object illuminate the entire area. The woman was alone but her daughter who lived nearby also saw the otherworldly object. In another part of town the same object was seen by an amazed couple who managed to capture the event (photos below) in spite of their initial stunned surprised. Another witness reported seeing the object hover above a nearby church.
They are smart, these space aliens.

Nothing against you Joe, but it may just be a stunt to try to bring in tourist dollars. An entire town is amazed by this phenomenon and all they could produce is a couple of blurry pictures of lights? I’ve got some crappy out-of-focus Christmas pics that look better than those. Maybe my tree was a flying saucer and I didn’t realize it.
Actually it’s just alien teenagers out for a joy ride and buzing earth for laughs.
Maybe we’re just another Disney World attraction in the universe, like Pirates of the Caribbean.

The establishment of a Transponder Code for aircraft flying worldwide is needed, to identify to ground controllers that a pilot is indeed experiencing a UFO phenomena and that pilot anxiety can be reduced to provide safe effective flying, knowing he is under radar control.
Lt. Col. Coyne was a U.S. Army Reserve helicopter pilot with 3,000 hours of flying time. He and other three airmen had a close encounter with a UFO on the night of October 18, 1973, while flying in a U.S. Army Bell Huey utility helicopter in the vicinity of Mansfield, Ohio. Lt.
