As the man looked to his left, he noticed something so strange in the sky that he stated, it took my breath away, as I had never seen anything like it. According to this witness, the area from where the sighting was observed from is known as a dark sky area, which is generally very good for star gazing. On the night of the observation, however, there were some hazy sky conditions.
What witness (A) observed in the distance was described as a solid large yellow sphere hovering low on the horizon. The light of the object was not real bright, and it did not appear to emit any light. He thought that he might have seen some red and blue colors at times. This observer is familiar with the sky and has seen the planet Venus many times. The witness commented that this object was positioned more to the north, and this object appeared larger and closer than Venus, and this object was yellow, not bright white like the planet.
The man was very baffled by what he was seeing, and he realized that he needed someone else to confirm what he was seeing. He was so excited, that he left his vehicle motor running and ran to a neighbor's house to tell them what he was watching. Witness (B) and his wife joined witness (A) outside, and also saw the object hovering in the distance.

Witness (A) told me that as they continued to watch the object hover, suddenly he noticed a blue flashing light at the top of the sphere. The man stated, I asked if they saw a blue flashing light at the top, at which time the light changed shape, morphed into not a disc but a top. It seemed to move away from us rapidly to a pin head size light and then gone. It happened so quickly he is unsure if the object just vanished in front of his eyes, or if it moved off at an incredible rate of speed. No sound was heard during the few minute observation.
Witness (B) told me how his neighbor came to his home very excited and stated, You have to come out and see this thing. Witness (B) also said the lighted object was low on the horizon and was pulsating, not blinking. It was far off in the distance, but it stayed in the same position while under observation. The object had a blue tint to it, and the light of the object would get brighter, than darker.
This witness also commented about the sudden disappearance of the strange light. This man told me how the light was pulsating with the blue color, then all of a sudden it was gone. His comments were, "It did just shut off and nothing was there.

Let ‘em land. Sell them some worthless mortgages, stocks on the slide, Bernie Madoff Certificates. They’ll leave on their own.
What if they’re here to save us from you know who?
Here’s a very interesting video.

Should put it on the Fighter . . . archive thread but am in a hurry.
In my standard archaeology news search this morning (while at work) I spotted story (maybe on a page I visited from the search results) about a blogger who claims to have a pic of a UFO shadowing the launch of the Kepler space telescope.
“Swing away, Merrill.”
