Oh Please! Why would any vastly more advanced civilization, (if one even exists) want to come here? What purpose would there be?

Yeah, and if they are so advanced, how come they keep crashing?

What’s the purpose of the bus-tours in Beverly Hill, California...or the bus tours of the monuments in Washington DC?
What’s the point of zoo exhibits?

Because this is the bootcamp for those who will rule and reign with Christ over them.
As well as the stage of the closing drama between God and evil pollutions to His creation!
Doh!

The odds that there are “beings” who not only share some piece of our reality but who share our human concepts of time and space are too remote to imagine. Calculate the additional odds that such “beings” share even one human mode of perception - - Sight, for example? Touch? Hearing? - - and that they understand concepts such as “thought” and “travel” and, well....
“Trillions and trillions” of “earth-like planets” can’t even begin to scratch those odds. We are by no means alone, but there will never be contact that makes any sense to us. To believe otherwise is the ultimate in vanity. That said, it’s fun to dream. I signed up with the Science Fiction Book Club in 1968.

Um, spiritual connection? ... We are the apple of God’s eye yaknow. He even took on a shape of one of us to bring us into a greater relationship with Him.
