For me, the answer to both questions is the same: Duvel, and Maredsous 10.

I need to snap a photo of my beer fridge, right now I have a German Dunkel and a Belgian Sasion on tap. I’m planning on making a German Helles next weekend which will be ready in in time for Spring.

A Helles eh?

I was thinking about brewing the same thing next weekend.

Great minds...

Cheers,

Indeed, it’s a favorite of mine. 4.5% of refreshing joy!

BEER IN A FRIDGE??

NO!

No beer in fridge, unless it cheap crappy american lite beer. I make irish style extra dry double stout.

Extra black, extra alcohol.

It stays in a closet in the basement. No refrigerators. Ever.

Did you ever try SN Celebration Ale?

I’m a wine/beer steward, and sold a lot of that.

The Early Spring Brew is doing very well, too.

What about the IPA stuff? Anybody a fan?

Don’t drink beer, so I have to ask around.

I have Iron City in the frig.

I wish I could get some of that Castle Beer I had in South Africa. I haven't seen it in the US.

“So, what's in YOUR fridge?”

Funny you should ask.

At the moment, the Stella Artois/Hoegaartse Wit/Leffe Abbey Ale assortment pack.

Just went through a case of the newest Shiner beer, the one they produced for their centennial celebrations, Commemerator. Mildly disappointing: despite the -ator suffix, it is decidedly NOT a doublebock.

Beer Ping!

A low to medium ping list aimed at all of us who, well, love our beer…

FReepmail rzeznikj at stout or GOP_Raider to be added or struck from the list…

The Celebration was very good as was the ESB. I was thinking the ESB was an Extra Special Bitters.

The best IPA, imo, is St. Peter’s. This is actually the beer that got me thinking about making my own beer. I gave up on making IPA though. I seem to do better with stout.

Nothing in the fridge - I keep my beer at cellar temperature.

Too many to list...I’d be accused of having a Beer Arsenal.I prefer to call it the Strategic Ethanol Reserve.

I just finished some assorted homebrews from my niece’s husband, who has just started. Pretty tasty!

IPA in fermenter at the moment - bottling next weekend.

In our cellar (aka the basement)
A bunch of Lunatique Belgian
some Chimay triple
A dozen or so bottles of Fullers ESB
A bunch of Arrogant Bastard
Lots of Samuel Smith Pale
3 6 packs of Old Peculiar

dozens upon dozens upon dozens of bottles and growlers full of homebrew...much of it not labled but most of it IPA’s, Stouts, Barleywines and various bitters.
