A number of witnesses have come forward to describe remarkable sighting of a UFO in the vicinity of the city of Tucson, Arizona. The UFO is being described as classic saucer shaped with red glowing lights. The craft was spotted on the evening of 11 February 2009. One witness was sitting and watching television with her husband, a former Airman, and her daughter when she noticed a UFO through a large glass sliding door that looks out towards the Tucson Mountains behind her backyard. The witness described the object as disc shaped with non-strobing red lights at its front and rear. She estimated it was moving south to north at an altitude of about 150m. The object then exploded in a large blaze of bright white light and sped away horizontal to the earth at an incredible speed.

I wonder
As reports have reach ET’s about proposed tightening of guns laws, an expected increase can be expected in UFO sightings. Except perhaps Montana, which is considering a law that would prevent such Fed control.
Or it could be that they have just received a portion of the stimulus package, which was needed for providing greater visibility at sub warp speeds, as per FAA regs. Explains everything.
Couldnt see anything, but at least it will give the Discovery Channel another hour of “make believe TV”!
I traveled 80,000 light years and all I got was this lousy Geena Davis.
We get the dumb tourists, the smart know not to come.
Not to mention the clear “NCC 1701” on the side. What does it mean?
Hey, when you come from the po’ side of Theta Reticuli, you take what you can get.
Or perhaps they kind of slide in real casual like, with thier souped up starship looking like a plain jane Earth vehicle, only to enter a drag race and blow the doors off the earthling’s puny aircraft, that lol all the way to Pluto.
The Brits are in town with their Harriers.
LOL. The only water near the Tucson mountains is the Santa Cruz sewage water. They’re welcome to it.
Does the Enterprise meet FAA regulations? I don’t think it did.
Or deep scanning radar looking at outer space.
Odd that.
Plenty of action once they’re in town, but never seen on the highways and interstates into town . . .
I'll bet its carbon footprint is less than Al Gore's 100 foot house boat
I’m fairly certain of that.
They lost one of their own and came back for him....oh wait, Hawaii is over there!!! No, wait.... HE’s IN THE WHITE HOUSE!!!!!!!
I just watched a UFO Hunters where they highlighted tapes of two F-15 pilots reporting a UFO that looked like a huge rock that was gaining altitude, not falling.
I thought it was a brilliant disguise if extra-terrestrial.
Aviation lights do their work well if the observer has eyes that see in human range of wavelengths. It just isn't appealing to travel millions of miles and get into a fender-bender at the landing site.
If the UFO is indeed of extraterrestrial origin then it makes plenty of sense to modify the craft to conform to local aviation rules, if you don't want trouble.
>>>The UFO is being described as classic saucer shaped
Just a historical note, the “classic saucer shape” was a media distortion in the first place. It didn’t happen. I’m not sure how you get a classic shape from what some reporter simply invented.
The 1947 pilot who reported objects flying through the air in a manner similar to the way you would skim a saucer was describing craft generally resembling a boomerang. What he saw seems very similar to the Northrop flying wing prototypes being flown at the time.
People only saw “saucers” after the original reporter told them what to see.
